ALPACA
A Metroidvania Style Game

Andrew Cupps, Ryan Tiedemann, Esha Singhai, and Josh Garofalo

Description


  • This game will be a 2-d platformer with as open a world as possible, similar to games like Metroid, Castlevania, Hollow Knight, and Shovel Knight.

  • The game will place the player in a specific area with a map, and the character can move throughout the stage as they please, fighting various enemies and bosses along the way.

  • As the player progresses through the game they will be able to purchase items, acquire skills, and obtain other traditional Metroidvania elements (skills, etc.).

  • The game will conclude with a final boss, whom the player will not be able to face without clearing a fair amount of the game.

JARVIS
A Terraria-Inspired Game

Description


  • We plan to create a game that's very similar to Terraria, in order to test our skills in performance, physics, and graphics.

  • If we have enough time, we may consider making the game multiplayer, though this may not happen.

FORGE ENLIGHTENED
Disaster Survival Real-Time Strategy

Description


  • At the start of each day except the first you get hit by a natural disaster.

  • These natural disasters act as de-buffs throughout the day.

  • As the day progresses you need to expand, repair, and defend your empire from natural disasters and enemies.

  • Make sure to do research to buff all your units again and at the end of each day you get research points to spend for even better buffs.

AGE OF CIVILIZATIONS
Age of Empires Inspired Real-Time Strategy

Elise Tinker and Shay Sehgal

Description


  • Our project is based off of the game "Age of Empires II", a strategy game set in the Middle Ages.

  • The player advances through 4 different time periods, each one brings more upgrades, buildings and units.

  • The player can move around the villages, control the villagers, construct new buildings and gather resources. We plan to make a very similar game, just a simpler version.

CHESS PIECE GAME
Visual Novel and Battle Game

Description


  • Over the course of the entire game, the player collect objects (maybe like chess pieces) that give them extra powers.

  • While on their quest they encounter various enemies to fight (like a shooting game). At the end when they face the final boss, the player will have all the power.

FALCON
Farming Simulator

Description


  • We hope to built a farming simulator that allows the player to move and customize their in game character as they manage their farm.

  • The goal for the farmer or player is to continually increase their revenue and land size/number of crops as well as their livestock.

Sidescrolling Platformer

Description


  • 2D side-scrolling platformer, similar to Mario games. There will be a series of levels, and maybe a boss fight at the end.

Zelda-Style Game

Description



  • Top down 2D rogue like RPG.

  • Base setting will be a cave and the goal will be to see how far one can get.
